For men who are thinking of proposing, we would like to tell you what you need to know to avoid making mistakes when choosing a ring.
1. Delivery time Except for some luxury brands, production of engagement rings often begins after receiving an order.
This is because when dealing with expensive items such as diamonds, holding inventory comes at a cost.
For example, if you purchase a 1.0 carat diamond ring with a simple single diamond like the one shown in this photo at our store, the price range as of today would be as follows.
Natural diamond: 1,000,000 yen ~
Lab-grown diamond: 450,000 yen~
Having a large number of these expensive items in stock means there is a high risk of them going unsold, and in addition to the branding fee, inventory costs will be added. Luxury brand engagement rings are expensive partly because of the added cost in addition to the brand value.
Therefore, at a luxury brand store, a single diamond solitaire ring like the one in the image above costs twice as much as at our store, and in some cases even more.
At DIALLURE, we do not have inventory and basically manufacture to order, so in exchange for keeping prices low, we allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery.
For men who are planning a Christmas proposal, it seems that as winter approaches and in some cases around November, it's time to start looking for a ring. This schedule will be very tight. I think it will be easier to make a decision if you start making moves about 3 to 4 months before the proposal date.

2. Design and price constraints
These days, men often ask their girlfriends about their ring preferences through friends or by asking their girlfriends about their ring preferences. This is very useful information when searching for a ring that your partner will like.
